Hola, we are here and safe. It has been a mini adventure already so i´ll share with all of you.
So we got to the Air Canada terminal in Winnipeg expecting everything to just go smoothly because thats the way the world works right?. Unfortunately because we had only bought a one way ticket, they questions our motives and our intent on joining Hugo Chavez in his fight against capitalism. So we had to buy another two tickets back home to have proof of leaving. $2000 later we are ready to go. Now all of that is refundable, but we cant seem to do it because of Air Canada´s policies in only opening at night, so we are stuck trying to figure out what to do. The night was not that pleasant, although the Lonely Planet warned of fridged temperatures in the airport because of air conditioning gone wild, it was still a cool 25 celcius, which prevented us from sleeping at all. I think we will go and try to sort some of this out.

Whoa...am I writing on the intranet?
Today is the last day before the big trip! Our hearts are pounding and I've thrown up at least 5 livers so far, I'm not too sure where the other 2 came from, but regardless. Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of our lives, and hopefully I'll be able to cross off a good portion of my life list in the coming months. Brad also wants to live his dreams or some rubbish like that...
( this was all Brad's idea...I don't even want to go )
Anyway, we will start blogging in a couple days. So everyone should just assume we arrived safe and sound and weren't devoured by a giant Kraken somewhere over the Gulf of Mexico ( pronounced Mehhico in Spanish. )
G'night everyone.
